Heading into the third week of Workforce Development Month, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) will highlight key industries in the state’s workforce across social media including: cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing and transportation. All three areas were among industry sectors with significant job gains in August: professional and business services (~2,900), manufacturing (~1,900), and trade, transportation, and utilities (~2,100).

There are currently hundreds of job postings related to both cybersecurity and advanced manufacturing on Connecting Colorado and nearly 14,000 in transportation. Notably, the transportation industry saw a 7.8% increase in employment growth from July 2021 to July 2022.
