The mission of the Northwest Douglas County Chamber & EDC's Ambassadors is to welcome, educate and connect. The purpose of the Ambassador Program is to serve as a resource/liaison between the organization, its members and the local business community. This group promotes collaboration, cooperation and partnership among the Ambassador group, Chamber & EDC members and the business community.
The Ambassador program is essential in four areas:
Representing the Chamber & EDC in the community and to the membership
Helping to Recruit new members and participants
Strengthen awareness of Chamber & EDC benefits
Increasing membership retention rates
The Ambassadors are our organization's premier volunteer program composed of high-energy, outgoing and dynamic business men and women. Ambassadors are carefully selected and, as a result, the group is comprised of highly respected individuals. Ambassadors are engaged Chamber & EDC members who enjoy networking and meeting new people, value relationships and believe and support the efforts of the organization.
