Highlands Ranch

Highlands Ranch is a 22,000-acre master-planned community located in the North-West portion of unincorporated Douglas County. Founded in 1981, the community has a population of approximately 100,000. Highlands Ranch is an upper-middle class community located 12 miles south of Denver. This location provides easy access to transportation (Denver International Airport, regional light rail), the mountains, Denver, Boulder, Aurora and Colorado Springs metropolitan areas.

An unincorporated part of the county, the area enjoys one of the lower tax rates in South Metropolitan Denver.

Highlands Ranch Community Association (HRCA)
The HRCA is a nationally award-winning nonprofit organization and the largest homeowners association in the nation.  The HRCA provides leadership, architectural control, covenant enforcement, special events for residents, and operation and maintenance of four first-class recreation facilities for the benefit of Highlands Ranch.  Visit website
